A Gateway to Commercial Construction
The 1901 Project helped spark the need for a stronger pathway, but 1901CIC is not limited to one project. The 1901 Project is a gateway-not the destination. Our mission is to help participants become ready for commercial construction opportunities across Chicagoland, with the skills, systems, and confidence needed to compete, grow, and succeed.

1901CIC is a nonprofit organization. We do not charge for classes. The program is offered at no cost so that access is not a barrier to learning and preparation.
However, free does not mean casual. Individual success depends on attendance, attentiveness, participation, follow-through, and a willingness to apply what is taught.
